NATS Air Traffic Control Centre installs EndoTherm
EndoTherm was installed into a NATS air traffic control centre in Ayrshire, Scotland.
The Prestwick Centre in Ayrshire is NATS northern office. It is a 14,000 square meter mixed use commercial building. The site is heated by air conditioned systems and fan coils which is powered by 5 x Ferroli 247.5kW boilers (combined rating of 1,237.5kW). The system was dosed with a closed system inhibitor.
EndoTherm was deployed at Middlesborough Councty Council Civic Centre as an energy saving capability. A monetary saving of £3,636 has been calculated based on a 2.8p/kWh unit price which means EndoThermTM has paid itself back within 5 months. This is also equivalent to a 26.362kg of CO2 based on a 0.203kg CO2 per kWh.
Defence company achieves 40% energy savings with COOLNOMIX®
The test was set up on two identical wall mounted Mitsubishi Mr. Slim split air con units operating 24 x 7 in an IT comms room. COOLNOMIX® was installed on one unit, but not on the other and the electricity consumption monitored using a 3 phase OWL Smart monitor. The total energy saving during the test period was 40.3%.
Coolnomix installed in the Aylesbury District Council head quarters.
Coolnomix was trialled on three new Mitsubishi inverter driven air con units cooling a major IT room 24x7. COOLNOMIX® was installed on two units, as the third unit was programmed by the Trend building management system as a slave back up unit. During the trial the electricity consumption was monitored using a 3 phase OWL Smart monitor.
The total energy saving during the test period was 20%.
